An exciting new role has become available for a sales manager to join a progressive food processing Company based on the N7 close to Malmesbury in the Western Cape. The primary purpose of the position will be to lead and manage the sales processes for the Company strategically and effectively.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Present, promote and sell product range using strong communication and presentation skills to existing and prospective customers
Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximise customer service levels
Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes
Coordinate sales effort of telesales team members and other departments
Analyse the market's potential, track sales, and produce status reports
Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products
Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
Specific attributes / qualifications
Must have a car and driver’s licence
Proven work experience as a sales manager
Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
Time management and organizational skills
Strong presentation skills
Relationship management skills
Must be bilingual
Must be computer literate
Must have matric
5-7 years FMCG sales experience
Remuneration:
R26 000 Gross per month + Petrol reimbursement
