My client based in the Northern Suburbs, focusing in the Academic industry is seeking to employ an Operations Administrator/Coordinator to join their Journal department.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and grammar skills, attention to detail and be able to work within in a team environment. We arelooking for someone that is self-motivated and result orientated
.
Experience within a similar position will be an added advantage.
Requirements:
Relevant vocational qualifications or, 3-5 yrs. in the role of an editorial assistant or editorial manager.
A process or project management, communications, or customer service degree.
Other process and project management, communication or customer service courses undertaken.
Specialist knowledge or a scientific or technical background.
Excellent time management skills.
Self-motivated and results oriented.
Good at spotting trends, report and analyse.
Strong, dynamic, and independent.
Driver’s license and own transport.
Job Summary:
Operations Coordinator assist in the day-to-day coordination and management of operational activities of all in-process and forthcoming manuscripts. Build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with authors, reviewers, Section Editors and Editor-in-Chiefs. Maintain regulatory quality standards (double-blind peer review and ethical review practices) and ensure all forthcoming operations documents are complete upon its release to production staff as to ensure project delivery are within allotted timelines.
