Qualifications and experience required:
Electrical Engineering minimum diploma preferred degree
High voltage (1000V) battery experience is a must.
2+ years of experience
Experience in working with team to ensure the testing of HV battery meets all requirements/specs
Familiar with Lithium ion battery technology
Strong data-driven analytical/problem solving skills
A team player with self-motivation to identify and close design issues
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Understanding cycle life of batteries and warranties from the source.
Charging of batteries and various methods used for this.
Knowledge of watt hours, amp hours and how to convert
Test and evaluate Solar Batteries and Solar Panels
Review specifications and recommend engineering or manufacturing changes to achieve solar design objectives.
Perform thermal, stress, or cost reduction analyses for solar systems.
Develop standard operation procedures and quality or safety standards for repair work.
Provide technical direction and support to installations teams during installation, start-up, testing, system commissioning, or performance monitoring.
Perform computer simulation of solar photovoltaic (PV) generation system performance or energy production to optimise efficiency.
Conduct product training
Respond to product inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person
Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
Perform quality checks on product and service delivery
Assist in planning driver’s route and see to Batteries being loaded.
Provide feedback, support and coaching to staff
Plan and direct training
Attend trade meetings and industry conventions
