Globally established engineering and manufacturing company based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town is seeking to employ a qualified Electrician on a permanent basis.
Minimum Requirements:




National Senior Certificate / Grade 12


N6 or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering Studies


Electrician Trade Test Certificate (Red Seal)


8 - 10 years’ post trade working experience in a technical steel / manufacturing / plant environment


Ability to perform your role independently


Strong foundation of knowledge and skills within your trade


Driver’s License with own reliable transport





Skills and knowledge required:




PLC, HMI, and Drive experience (programming experience or exposure beneficial).


Knowledge of various sensors (Inclino sensors, Read switches and encoders).


Panels and DB Boards.


Automated machines.


Drives and/or invertors.


Generator electrical systems.


Control systems.


Mains and/or reticulation.
