Key accountability:
- Key focus is the generation of new business leads via telephone.
- Supplemented by contacting merchants via phone to rekindle a relationship and secure a potential new deal.
- Customer retention
- Managing sales funnels and understanding the targets required for each specific business area.
- Tracking and reporting of sales leads through CRM.
- Local Sales. Everything ranging from food & drink, experiences, accommodation, wellness and spa, entertainment, and services will be your portfolio.
- You’ll use your skill as a “cold caller“ to sell our services to current and new merchants.
- Cold calling, building relationships, and getting them to sign a potential deal.
- Extensive research into merchants and service offering whilst understanding the DD business model/customer profile
- Strong digital skills i.e., working with CRM / communication platforms. Ability to adapt/learn about new technology.
- Problem-solving, negotiating prices, and getting the best possible deal.
- Experience in cold calling with excellent telephone technique and listening skills
- Strong command of the English language (advantageous if you are able to converse in additional South African languages)
- Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills.
