A leading telecommunication company based in Somerset West is seeking to employ a Project and Service Manager to effectively manage the execution of all projects on a national level
Duties:
Provide the overall project leadership on project practices
Be overall responsible and the point of contact
Define, implement and manage the Time Management practices for all direct reports
Plan, execute, and finalize projects/sub-projects according to strict deadlines and within budget
Acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors
Aggregate measurement of all projects
Coordinate the Project delivery to ensure allocation of resources meets the customer and business objectives
Define, introduce and apply Risk, Quality, Cost and Progress Management
Manage deliverables of cross-functional teams
Drive Revenue and Profit measures at Project Level
Define testing / QA / Delivery of activities
Define and develop project scoping, monitoring and control framework
Acknowledge, understand and manage customer and Program/Project/Work Package Delivery issues and disputes
Manage internal escalation tracking meetings to ensure all parties remain aware of their roles
Participate in developing internal and customerfacing system, process and procedure efficiencies to improve services and customer satisfaction
Participate in training and development to ensure skilled execution in delivery is always at the highest levels
Identify and rectify root cause findings on System, Process or Technology in cross functional divisions
Participate with IT to develop reports to drive efficiencies across various departments internally to improve service delivery
Ensure self and direct reports adherence to functional and company process and practices for ordering stock
Undertake travel during business and non-business hours, or as required by the Customers or Vendors due to 27/4/365 operations
Undertake to improve self and team knowledge, skills through internal or external training programmes
Requirements:
Matric
Under-Graduate degree or Post-Graduate Diploma
Specialist Certifications (PRINCE2, PMBOK/PMP, ITIL)
Computer literacy – COMPTIA
Electrical circuits 101 AC/DC/Solar (or similar) NTCNA Mikrotic (or similar)
RF / Microwave Advanced / Wi-Fi technology
Structured cabling
Fiber optic reticulation
Valid drivers license
A minimum of 5 years in the WISP or Telco industry
Advanced skills in Microsoft office, Smartsheet and/or MS Projects
Design, implementation and maintenance of High sites Construction and Facilities
Extensive experience of travel and remote work (National and Rural Areas)
Functional and line administration and management
Leadership in team context (local and remote teams)
Team management (local and remote teams)
Experience working in Project Management context
Deep experience with Executive or Senior Level peers
