Maintain existing LAMP hosting customer infrastructure.
Maintain and expand configuration management systems.
Technical point of contact for premium hosting customers
Form part of a highly skilled and autonomous team
Translate customer requirements into robust innovative solutions.
Collaborate with diverse tech teams and customers.
Provide after-hours on-call support on a rotational basis.
Actively participate in continuous improvement within the team
Exercising expert troubleshooting ability across a wide range of scenarios, technologies, and customer base.
The self-organising structure of the team allows for equal evaluation of opinions and the opportunity for anyone to contribute.
5+ years with a successful track record in Linux server administration
Proficient at different scripting languages (bash, python)
Experienced in at least one automation tool (we make use of Puppet)
Experience as the last point of call for escalations
Helpdesk or technical support experience
Is passionate about quality and high standards.
Understands the false economy of interim solutions.
Clearly understands the challenges of data loss and has a successful track record of preventing it
Demonstrates a passion for technology to serve operational and client requirements.
Demonstrates a passion for optimal systems and simple procedures.
