Minimum requirements for the role:
Must have a National Senior Certificate
A tertiary qualification would be ideal
Previous sales experience, especially new business development is essential
Previous experience with food or related raw materials would ideal
Must be fast paced, hands on and be driven by sales and incentives
Must have a valid drivers license, a reliable car and be willing to travel to clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Developing new business, building relationships with current and prospective clients and providing good customer service.
Developing and implementing sustainable customer relationship strategies enabling sales growth.
Providing input to the annual budget process in terms of own accounts (volume, revenue, pricing and margins etc).
Delivering against own sales targets on range of financial dimensions per set annual budgets.
Providing input into monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts for own accounts.
Managing and delivering on technical queries with regards to specialised existing and new products.
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders regarding stock availability and delivery expectations.
Negotiating prices and volumes.
Following up and payments.
Salary package, including benefits, are highly negotiable depending on experience gained
