Retail Software Support Technician

Job descriptionYou are required to have previous experience in assisting users with retail software and hardware (point of sale equipment) related issues within the required SLA. You should be comfortable with SQL (mainly querying and using joins), you will rely on SQL when doing more complex query investigations. You will be collaborating with 3rd party companies (our software integrates with airtime, loyalty etc.) as well as the technical team to ensure client issues are sufficiently resolved.
Your ability to think both analytically and creatively when solving problems will become the key to your success in this role. If you pride yourself on your multitasking skills and thrive in a high-pressure environment, then this position might just be well suited to your abilities.
Please note, this is not a remote position. Due to the nature of this position, weekend work, shifts and overtime is a non-negotiable.
These positions will be based at our various branches across South Africa and report into our Head Office in Cape Town.
