The successful candidate will have:
Have worked in a similar position with at least 1-2+ years’ experience.
Must be computer literate, and have excellent telephone and email etiquette
Drivers licence and own transport
International Export and Importing experience will be advantageous
Proficient in Google Chrome, and Microsoft Office Applications
Liaison with customers, suppliers, and courier companies.
Be able to handle extreme pressure.
Able to prioritize and multi-task.
Team player and able to work unsupervised. Work closely together with your assistance.
Make online bookings through courier portals, while in correspondence with suppliers to ensure successful collection of parcels.
Arranging collection/delivery of international parcels through our couriers' online systems.
Keep suppliers and couriers contact details up to date, as well as keeping the team informed of any changes.
Assist in packing orders from the physical store from time to time.
Correspond with clients on expected ETAs and solving of logistical problems.
Occasionally claim back from couriers for damaged parcels.
Arrange collection of stock coming to our shop, to make sure they arrive in a safe and timely manner.
Book orders from our suppliers and shop and sending all information to the client (including tracking updates, questions, or queries regarding their order).
Generate quotations for international and national deliveries for the Sales team.
Work in a tight-knit team with the sales team, and the couriers to ensure the best service at all times.
Provide exceptional customer service via phone and email, including messages, troubleshooting web problems, and resolving customer concerns.
Be in constant contact with the clients in case an alternative delivery address needs to be made, or a parcel was incorrectly delivered by the couriers.
Sign up with new couriers, to improve reliability and lower costs via meetings.
Match pricing on Statements to actual pricing charged on quotes, making sure the amounts are accurate before payment is made.
Make sure all couriers account payments are up to date and settled.
Keep stationary and packing supplies stock levels up to date.
