The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for the welfare of children and a background in servicing the community through fund raising efforts. The position will be part time / flexi-time with a 5 hour a day commitment.
To co-ordinate, execute and follow through of fundraising, promotions and marketing initiatives of the current and potential future partners of the NGO
Innovate and use initiatives or networking to source funding
To build and maintain relationships amongst stakeholders within the communities to enable networking and marketing initiatives.
Maintain and coordinate social media by promoting the NGO
Website maintenance and coordination thereof
The custodian of the brand and the CI – ensuring the correct use thereof
Manage and co-ordinate an event and marketing calendar.
Plan, execute and conduct post analysis on events.
Contribute towards the fundraising and marketing strategies.
To develop sustainable relationships with media
Co-ordinate internal and external communication
Marketing diploma and / relevant proven experience
2 - 3 Years' relevant marketing and fund raising experience in an NGO or similar environment
Knowledge and Skills
Computer literacy – MS Office with Excel skills
Very good interpersonal and communication skills
Deadline driven, excellent organizing and planning skills
High level of attention to detail
Ability to contribute to strategic and tactical objectives
Energy, initiative and enthusiasm is required
Knowledge of marketing principles and practices
Presentation and reporting skills
