Meetings to be carried out timeously as per your requests.
Suppliers to be maintained, food safety documentation to be present as well as any other documentation requirements set by customers FS02-4, FS08.
All records to be monitored to ensure they are maintained.
Ensure all corrective actions done timeously.
Ensure Complaints log kept up to date and complaints resolved.
All CCP's managed accordingly.
Internal audits carried out and upon completion, reviewed by the Managing Director.
Premises to be kept to HACCP standards.
Cleaning and Sanitizing to be maintained in warehouse.
Allergens Control kept in place as best as possible.
Ensure all staff keep Hygiene standards.
Hand sorting to be done timeously.
Equipment to be calibrated and maintained.
Ensure stock quality meets product spec.
All food safety documents to be generated as per customer requests.
New Product Development.
New product costing managed effectively.
New product meets required specs.
New product produced efficiently (oversee QC)
Provide technical background and information to all fields.
Communicate to each HACCP Team Member on updates, changes, and guidelines.
Assist HACCP Team Member where required or short comings noticed.
Assist Sales Department will all related technical service and documentation needs to approved sales.
Work in a flexible fashion with procurement while still maintaining sufficient standards/compliancy to FSMS.
Skills and Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree or Diploma in Food Science or Technology
A qualified Food Safety Manager with at least 5 years’ experience.
Has undergone at least 3 external food safety audits.
Maintaining and improving of a food safety and quality management system - BRCGS or FSS 22000.
Overseeing all external and internal food safety audits.
Managing a food safety team.
Able to assist with NPD work.
Good Work Ethic.
Problem solving skills.
