A Butchery qualification or qualifications such as SAQA
At least 5+ years butchery and food operations management experience required
Ability to implement and manage HACCP standards in the butchery
FMCG principles of knowledge
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel
Excellent numerical skills
A high standard understanding of hygiene and safety.
Quality control across the operations.
Overseeing consistency in the processing of products (we process everything).
Efficient Stock management (ensuring stock availability and allocation).
Efficient Waste management.
Efficient management of Deliveries and Collections to customers.
Retail and wholesale sales management, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Costing, Block testing, GP management.
Effective Planning and efficient implementation.
Additional ad-hoc tasks will be required.
