Responsibilities and objectives:
Responsible for procurement, sales, and distribution of Agricultural commodities
Helps formulate the sales budgets for the category
Ensures optimal customer satisfaction
Responsible for handling of commercial issues
Develop new trade opportunities
Monitor international and local market developments
Contribute to continuously improve the work procedures and systems
Ensure all suppliers meet stringent vendor approval requirements
Frequent travel to Visit all customers and suppliers
Relevant degree/diploma would be preferred but Is not essential.
Industry relevant experience would be preferred but is not essential.
The successful candidate
reside in the Helderberg area (Somerset West / Strand/ Gordons Bays or Stellenbosch)
Excellent customer service skills – both verbal and written
Effective contract negotiation skills
Ability to solve challenging problems
Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and work with minimal direction
Proficiency in Afrikaans & English (written and spoken)
Willingness to travel
Well Developed IT proficiency
