Job description

The in-house, data-lead digital agency of a leading FMCG business is looking for a d igital products lead t o work across their brand portfolio within Africa. 
The Digital products lead is responsible for implementing the annual department plan which plays a crucial role in reaching brand goals and objectives. Taking the lead across the team to design, develop and launch\web platforms as well as guide direct marketing activations (using first party data) across the brand portfolio.
The position requires experience and passion for agile development methodologies, new technologies and utilizing different digital marketing channels.
Key roles and responsibilities:

• You are responsible for acting as the scrum master across the digital products team
• Manage and oversee different digital product channels and lead the end-to-end product development process and work with team of UX Designers, UI Designers, SEO, Analytics and Direct Marketing team members to guarantee the best possible customer journey
• Drive implementation to deliver to our brand partners ask on time and within budget to ensure effective campaign delivery
• Consider our user's needs, internet market trends, the performance of our current products and the company's  strategy to generate new ideas and improvements
• Design improvements and capabilities for our digital products based on in-depth analysis
• Validate product launches based on the relevant KPIs, inform stakeholders and iterate to a better version
• Partner and manage the internal team's interaction with external vendors
• Stay up to date with the latest technology and best practices
• Own the day-to-day management of the departments resource plan to manage efficiencies as well as to manage timely money movements between brands as well as payments to vendors
• Measure and manage success of digital products
• Research competition, investigate benchmarks and provide suggestions for improvement
Profile:
• Matric
• Higher certificate/diploma) or relevant tertiary qualifications / certifications in digital marketing,
Computer Science or relevant field.
• In depth knowledge of different digital marketing channels with Acquia, Drupal as a plus
• Good knowledge and experience with online marketing tools and best practices
• Hands-on experience with SEO, Google Analytics and CRM software
• Good knowledge of web design procedures
