Digital marketing manager - East Rand - Gauteng
Our client is urgently looking for a d igital marketing manager to join their team. The purpose of the role is to act as a Senior Leader; supervising, managing and motivating team members daily and ensuring client satisfaction. Your role is to guide the team and be the point of contact for all team members and team-related matters. You must be able to act proactively, setting the example for the team, ensuring smooth operations, effective collaboration, and ultimately the achievement of the business goals
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or relevant field.
- A minimum of five years’ experience in a digital marketing or advertising position.
- In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices, and website analytics.
- Highly creative with excellent analytical abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Up to date on the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing.
Duties and responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Strive to maximise department revenue and meet or exceed individual and team targets
- Coach, train, develop and assist in career development at the individual and team level
- Regularly monitor individual productivity metrics
- Develop and monitor performance plans to include developing action plans based on daily, weekly and monthly analysis of all performance metrics
- Assist with hiring and workforce planning
- Continuously analyse and evaluate departmental productivity and identify opportunities for improvement of systems and processes
- Work to build a team environment with strong morale, positive energy, consultative and goal-oriented culture
- Engage with and nurture client relationships
- Ensure monthly client budgets are adhered to
- Ensure monthly billing is accurately submitted
- Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
- Set clear team goals, oversee, and manage day-to-day operations
- Monitor team performance and motivate team members to achieve all goals
- Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments
- Mediate and resolve any conflicts or issues
- Suggest and organize team building activities

Salary:
