This role will join Jellyfish’s data and planning team, a broad and diverse team encompassing brand, data and media planners, analysts, data scientists and CRM specialists as well as being part of the wider global data and insights function spanning hundreds of skilled individuals. All with the common goal of using data expertise to inspire clients, partners and Jellyfish to jointly execute best-in-class marketing fuelled by data-rich insights. The typical day-to-day will involve managing multiple campaign projects and to be seen as the team’s first port of call for day-to-day data planning enquiries.
  • Define a measurement framework that is reflective of account strategies by identifying the proper data sources and KPIs aligned to business goals and illustrate campaign effectiveness
  • Evaluate various measurement and attribution modeling techniques and methodologies including DDA models
  • Activate attribution and supplementary reports (e.g. path to conversion, time lag, category analysis) into media plan recommendations for the media strategy team and channels
  • Evaluate customer journeys and data signals across the customer lifecycle that will inform audience targeting and media flighting
  • Define and manage audiences that can be shared across Jellyfish partner and client ecosystem (e.g. Google, Facebook, LiveRamp, Salesforce, Segment)
  • Plan measurement proposals to evaluate and refine activity, including test and learn, conversion lift studies and deeper analysis
  • Design and create data visualisations for marketing performance data
What you’ll need:
  • Knowledge and experience of implementing attribution models either using specific technologies or leveraging functions within standard analytics or ad serving technologies such as Campaign Manager, Google Analytics 360, SA360 or other attribution platforms
  • Experience of working in a Data Planning and Analytics environment, preferably at an agency
  • Understanding of the levers a digital marketer may pull to influence marketing outcomes
  • Experience of working with diverse data sources across multiple channels to produce insight
  • Attention to detail combined with a careful approach to process
  • Experience of CRM strategy and how data drives and supports across the lifecycle
  • Clear, concise and engaging communications skills and the ability to distill and translate complex analysis into actionable insights that a client will understand
  • An outgoing, curious thinker, with consistent levels of evident enthusiasm
Advantageous but not essential:
  • Experience with GA360, web and app experience optimisation/personalisation platforms and/or paid social interfaces
  • Knowledge and experience of CRM platforms such as Salesforce and omni-channel marketing
  • Knowledge of Python/R or SQL
  • Knowledge of segmentation, propensity modelling or customer lifetime value
