Our client based in the Winelands region has an exciting full-time position available for a Restaurant Manager within its Hospitality Team. The ideal candidate must be able to work effectively and accurately under strict deadlines.
The responsibilities of the job incumbent include:
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
• Ensure that the production, preparation & presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times
• Proactive problem solving
• Excellent customer service
• Know and apply to the restaurant policies and procures for health and safety
• Handling customer enquiries and complaints
• Have product knowledge (i.e menus & wines)
• Supervise day to day restaurant cash-ups
• Assistance in staff rostering in such a way which will impact the success of service demand
• Lead and motivate restaurant staff which will impact the success of the Restaurant.
REQUIREMENTS
• Diploma in Hospitality Management
• Minimum of 3 years working experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role
• Computer literacy (MS Word and MS Excel)
• Flexibility
• Detail orientated
• Excellent communication skills (English & Afrikaans)
• Excellent organisational skills
• Able to multitask and work under pressure
• Customer orientated
• Stress tolerance
• Trustworthy
• Team player
• Positive attitude.
