Storeman

Our client is a specialist in Electrical Engineering, Control and Automation Development with projects and offices nationwide, and they are seeking to appoint a Storeman for their branch in the Northern Suburbs.

Minimum requirements:



Matric / Grade 12 is compulsory.


Applicable Tertiary Qualification (advantageous).


Job-sys experience (advantageous).


Good numerical skills.




Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with staff, production team, suppliers, and contractors.


Excellent planning and administrative skills.


Electrical material and equipment knowledge (advantageous).




Solid experience and proven employment track record



Key Performance Areas:



Issuing of raw materials, consumables, hand tools, etc.




Receiving of deliveries.


Checking of deliveries against delivery notes.


Process daily stock orders.


Complete inventory cycle counts on stock items.


Offloading of stock deliveries.


Maintaining stock quantities.


Adhere to health and safety standards.


Maintaining a clean and organised stores environment.


Other operational tasks within the scope of the role.
