Management representative for food safety- and legislative audits.
Trending of complaints, non-conformances, verification, validation activities etc.
Communication to management with regards improvements.
Maintain Halaal & Kosher certification.
Management of training plan regarding food safety, health & safety and other training as required as per change management procedure.
Management systems objectives to be reported quarterly with action plans as necessary.
Retailer communication and sign off on labels regarding legal requirements.
Review all applicable Management Systems documentation annually.
Oversee Quality Control Manager and tasks related to this position.
Manage QC Department staff.
Assist with New Product Development.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
BSc Food Science / Food Technology
Min. 5 years
Comprehensive experience of the implementation, maintenance, updating and continuous improvement of:
FSSC 22000 or similar GFSI food safety certification system (BRC etc.)
Health & Safety management system
Quality management system.
Ethical and Sustainability systems knowledge will be advantageous.
Comprehensive knowledge of legislation requirements for systems listed.
Proficient computer literacy in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and company related software systems.
Strong analytical skills.
Good people skills.
