Our client based in Worcester is a top-tier agricultural company providing agricultural equipment, winery supplies and agricultural chemicals locally as well as internationally.
They currently have a vacancy for a
Product Support Manager

.
As the Product Support Manager, you will focus on developing dealer's product support capability, influencing dealer management, establishing business plans and follow up, and assisting with execution as required while holding dealers accountable for achieving agreed goals.




Key performance areas are as follows:



develop dealer's product support capability, influencing dealer management, establishing business plans and follow up, and assisting with execution as required while holding dealers accountable for achieving agreed sales goals.


Drive product and performance issue resolution by developing dealer's technical and customer support capability throughout South Africa.


Utilising company tools, pre-empt and resolve technical and or parts issues.


Execute and uphold various company policies relative to warranty and other reimbursement functions.


Maintain current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment imported by the company.


Monitors competitor activity/products and timely communicates to management, accordingly.


Maintains all dealer information in assigned territory for sales management.


Knows and follows a defined sales process.


Meets quarterly sales goals established by Business Manager.


Assists with the preparation and execution of dealer events as well as national events i.e., Nampo Bothaville & Nampo Cape.


Conducts new equipment field demonstrations in liaison with dealers.



The candidate will report to the

Business Manager

and must have the following skills:




Must be a self-motivated and hardworking individual with high energy levels.


Be thorough in the completion of all tasks.


5+ years equipment sales experience.


Knowledge of agricultural equipment and farming or operational practices in general.


Effective communication in both Afrikaans and English.


Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.


Ability to work flexible hours and frequently be away from home.


Excellent customer relationship skills.


Ability to analyse and interpret basic sales reports.


Agricultural diploma or relevant work experience.
