Handles and responds to a wide variety of quotation requests, purchase orders and general customer enquiries.
Draws up quotations, completes RFQs and processes sales orders as required.
Identifies required products and is committed to developing the level of product knowledge appropriate to the position.
Communicates details of product promotions to customers.
Acts as client liaison relating to product availability, delivery information, pricing and quotations and refers to Sales Specialist / Applications Specialist/ Product Manager where applicable.
Responds to complaints from customers and takes ownership of the complaint completion cycle.
Meets all turnaround targets for sales coordination outputs.
Assists in the general administrative functions required in the customer service team.
Skills and Requirements:
Matric with mathematics and science.
Tertiary administrative qualification – preferably imports and exports focused.
Minimum 3 years’ track record of customer service orientation- preferably in a medical diagnostic/laboratory supplier environment.
Strong Customer Service orientation.
Strong administrative and organizational skills.
Fully proficient in MS Office 365 (Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook)
Proficient in ERP/CRM system- preferably SAP B1.
Attention to detail.
The initiative, self-driven, appropriately assertive.
Ability to prioritize and work under pressure.
Proficient and confident verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent team player with the ability to work independently when required.
