to join their team on a 6-month contract basis. You will support support the HR Administration Officer in the day-to-day administration of all HR related activities, for a period of 6 months.
Provide administrative support to our HR Administration Officer in day-to-day HR-related activities.
Ensure proper maintenance of personnel records and staff files.
Payroll administration, processing monthly salaries and completion of:
Monthly payroll and other reports.
Administration of monthly staff benefit programs (Group Life, Short Term Insurance, Medical Aid, Annuities):
Assist with the administration of new joiners, leavers, and amendments to benefits.
Process and reconcile monthly billings for staff benefits.
Assist employees with claims problems.
Arrange meetings with brokers where required.
Assist with updating and maintaining HR policies on the intranet.
Handle day to day HR related queries from staff.
Resolve administrative queries in the simplest and friendliest manner possible.
Skills and Requirements:
· Experience in SAGE People 300 and ESS is mandatory. · A matric pass or equivalent is essential. · Working knowledge of relevant legislation (BCEA, LRA) is essential. · At least 2 years’ HR Administration experience. · Experience in MS Office packages. · A relevant HR certificate or diploma will be advantageous. · Demonstrates consistent and efficient administrative skills, attention to detail and accuracy. · Confident communicator in both written and spoken language. · The ability to multitask and prioritize. · The ability to build effective relationships with managers and employees at all levels of the group - a team player. · The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information. · Able to work under pressure. · High standards of ethical conduct, i.e. honesty, integrity and sensitivity.
