The ideal candidate will be a middle level accountant managing a portfolio of clients with the potential to grow into a manager in the medium – longer term (2/3 years)
Minimum Education
MATRIC Accounting / Studying towards a BCom Degree or equivalent NQF 7 qualifications.
Desired experience
1-2 years relevant accounting experience
Key Responsibilities
- Work proficiently on EasyFile & eFiling
- Work proficiently on Pastel Partner and Pastel Payroll
- Submit VAT201's, EMP201's, ITR12/14, IRP6's, IRP5 Certificates and EMP501's
- Monitor daily SARS correspondence on eFiling for a portfolio of clients
- The potential to manage and review clerical work
- Able to work on Pastel and complete basic data capturing for a portfolio of clients
- CSV or OFC import of bank statements, formatting and uploading to Pastel
Other advantageous capabilities
- Processing Payroll - Pastel Payroll
- Drafting of management accounts and Annual Financial Statements
- Filing of workmens compensation
