JOB PURPOSE
Direct and manage the plant quality and technology organization
Lead the production business teams in the achievement of product quality, uniformity, waste, appearance and new product introductions

Manage departmental costs of the Quality and Technology Division




Drive and improve customer satisfaction of products and services through contact with customers



KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Ensure compliance with the following specifications: raw materials, compounds, testing, processing, construction, equipment, curing and final inspection
Ensure process and product quality/technical integrity through constant evaluations of specifications and performance to those specifications
Assist in planning and direction of cost reduction and control activities related to technical, technology and engineering item
Drive quality and uniformity improvement programs within plant
Develop organization and associate leadership and technical competencies

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related degree (Masters preferred)
10+ years of experience in leading and implementing plant quality and technology with 5+ years at management level within a manufacturing environment
Experience in a Unionised environment
Experience in a Continuous Improvement / Zero Loss Concept / Total Productive Maintenance / Lean environment
