Job Title: National Training Programme Manager – Audit

Job Summary:
The purpose of this position is assisting in the development and implementation of the firm’s SAICA training programme vision; assisting the National Training Officer in executing the training office strategies across all regions; assisting in managing compliance with professional bodies such as SAICA and IRBA in matters pertaining to trainees; assisting in performing internal training office moderation reviews in preparation for SAICA re-accreditation visits; drafting communication on SAICA Compliance matters and ensure that compliance requirements are met.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
•Assisting in developing training programme strategies that support the people strategy and are aligned to the organisational strategy and compliant with SAICA training regulations.
•Assisting in the research and implementation of innovative and best practices in the training programme management value chain.
•Monitor the Firm’s compliance with the requirements of the professional bodies such as SAICA and IRBA.
•Collaborate and contribute to the development and implementation of a training programme and plan which is aligned to SAICA’s competency framework.
•Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the firm assessment training policies that are compliant with SAICA regulations and aligned to each region’s operational capability.
•Manage and maintain service level agreements (SLAs) that are linked directly to the furtherance of the training programme.
•Manage the implementation of standardised audit trainee processes and procedures for all regions of the audit division as far as reasonably feasible.
•Manage the central process of monitoring competencies and core hours of trainees against SAICA expectations.
•Coordinate the collation and publication of the firm’s SAICA examination results.
•Coordinate the planning and performance of internal training office moderation reviews in preparation for SAICA re-accreditation visits.
•Coordinate the timeous on-boarding and movement of trainees on TCMS for SAICA.
•Coordinate the preparation and processing of discharging trainees at the of training contracts in accordance with SAICA regulations.
•Process payment requisitions for centralised training office costs.

Requirements:
Qualifications and Experience:
•Administration/Management Diploma or Degree
•In-depth knowledge and understanding of SAICA Training Regulations and the Competency Framework
•3-5 years’ relevant experience in a similar role/field
