Job description
Our Nomad Now Client, a disruptive new Fibre-to-the-premises business, is seeking a Python developer with at least two years’ Python experience in a professional environment. This is an urgent role, with the start date being ASAP.Requirements
- At least two years’ Python experience in a professional environment
- Experience building software with a TDD approach
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with Git, Gitflow and Gitlab
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as VUE or React
- Experience with Django Rest Framework / Flask is advantageous
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience is advantageous
- MongoDB experience advantageous
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field advantageous
- Translate business requirements from documented processes into neat and legible code
- Write test cases for your code, strive for 100% test coverage. TDD is how you will be expected to build
- Design and implement highly available and performant applications
- Review code of other team members in merge requests, and have your code reviewed
- Implement secure and data protection-focused applications
- Write RESTful API endpoints
- Implement software enhancements and suggest improvements
