Our client operating within the Engineering and Manufacturing Sector is seeking to appoint a methodical, proactive, and energetic Time and Attendance Administrator. The Time and Attendance Administrator will support the Human Resources and Production Department by managing the shift rosters efficiently. Location: Northern Suburbs
Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate.
Relevant Tertiary Qualification (Diploma/Certificate/Course) in HR/Payroll, Labour Legislation, or similar.
3-5 years’ experience in a payroll, roster scheduling/production/labour planning related role.
Must have experience with MEIBC / manufacturing environment.
Experience with HR software, e.g., ERS Bio (essential requirement).
Attention to detail is highly important for this role.
Ability to multi-task and work with inputs from various sources.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced, highly changeable environment.
Sound computer skills (MS Office Excel).
Key areas of performance:
Compile and manage the weekly shift roster for the entire production team.
Organize and maintain personnel records, inclusive of daily filing of all documents.
Update internal databases (e.g., record sick or maternity leave).
Prepare HR documents, such as employment contracts and new hire guides.
Create regular reports on HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates) with data provided by the HR Team and department heads.
Preparation of data required for payroll (weekly clock-ins, overtime, call outs, stand by.).
Answer employees’ queries about HR-related issues.
Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information.
Participate in HR projects (e.g., help organize a job fair event).
Facilitate daily staff replacements (sick, absence replacements).
