DOORMAN FRONT LINE OFFICER – Our client a highly reputable and trusted Jewellery Business in East London has a vacancy for a Doorman with previous experience in a Security Company or similar environment. This position is only suitable for someone who is able and willing to stand on duty all day!
Your key job responsibilities will include:
Standing at the entrance to the store
Greeting and opening the door for the Customers
Encourage Customers to come into the store if they are window shopping
Assess people entering and politely request all Customers to remove hats, caps or any headgear which prevents facial recognition
Must have previous experience in a Security Environment
Security Certifications advantageous
Fluent in English grammar and spoken (Xhosa advantageous)
Polite, Patient, Confident, Friendly and well spoken
Professional – Dress, Language, Positive attitude, Punctual
Knowledge of security issues within the retail sector
Ability to work shopping Mall retail hours (this includes week-ends and public holidays) on a rotational roster basis
Salary: R5,000 – R6,000 Negotiable depending on experience
