Reporting to the senior Agronomist (for the first two years) the candidate will be responsible for the following:
Actively participate in seasonal activities on their farms in the Western Cape and then travel overseas to participate in their seasonal production activities – Based in Porterville but traveling to another farm once a week.
Provide insight to the farmers and industry experts on ways to help with harvesting and crop yield, pest control and other technical specifications.
Research and development of farming and production practices
Compiling statistics and conducting research and relaying to Head Office (Europe)
Post Bachelors qualification in Agronomy (Masters or PhD)
Practical experience advantageous but not essential
Valid Vehicle License
