Our client based in Paarden Eiland is seeking to appoint an experienced Storeman on a permanent basis.
Requirements:



Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate.


Minimum of 5 years working experience in a stores environment.


Proficient in issuing of raw materials, consumables, hand tools etc.


Ability to do basic mathematical calculations.


Ability to do monthly material take-off and meticulous data capturing.


Computer literate – basic MS Office programs.


Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and administrative skills.


Reliable transport.



Key functions of the role:



Managing the day-to-day operations within the stores.


Issuing of raw materials, consumables, hand tools, etc.


Capturing of goods issued and accepting responsibility for the company’s raw material assets.


Assist with goods receiving and offloading of materials on arrival.


Other tasks as required by management within the scope of the role of a Storeman
