Description
An established and well known company based in Montague Gardens is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to join their team. If you have an excellent track record of experience in being responsible for end-to-end processes of the Finance Department combined with the construction industry, then this position is for you!

The successful candidate will provide efficient data processing and administration service to the payroll department in order to ensure accurate payroll records of employees as well as to contribute to the timeous and accurate payment of salaries or wages to all staff in line with company processes and procedures.



Responsibility:
You will be responsible for:

Manage accounts and admin teams to ensure deadlines are met
Budgeting and Forecasting
Forecasting of cashflow, EBITDA
Facilitate annual audit
Loading of all payments
Bookkeeping to Trial Balance
Preparation of monthly management reports
Liaison with bankers
Applications for foreign payments
Statutory and regulatory items to facilitate
Annual audit requirements
BBEEE Verification process
CIDB Renewals
CIPC Annual returns
Annual STATSSA Submissions

Payroll & HR Admin
Preparations of monthly salaries, payslip distribution
Submission of monthly UIF, PAYE, VAT Returns
Submission of monthly MIBFA Returns
Submission of Workman’s compensation claims
Renewal of Workmen's Compensation Insurance
Submission of Annual ATR/WSP (Learnerships)
Submission of IT180s to claim tax allowances related to learnerships
Submission of Annual Employment Equity Plan
Quarterly STATSSA Submission


SARS & Taxes
Provisional Tax preparations and submissions
Income Tax preparations and submissions
PAYE, SDL and UIF calculations and payments
Submission of Bi-annual EMP501s and IRP5s

Education:

Matric
B.Com Accounting / B.Acc / B.Compt
3 Years Articles within an auditing firm
CA (SA) will be adv, but not a must
Minimum 5-10 yeas’ experience within a similar role
Excellent knowledge of VIP Premier Payroll, Accpacc & MS Excel Advanced skills (Manipulation of ODBC data)
SARS


The suitable candidate must be hard working, ambitious, strong personality to be able to deal with various stakeholders and should strive for growth as they could be the FD’s successor. Must have proven people management skills, exceptional attention to detail and an effective communicator at all levels. Highly organized and flexible, strong numerical skills and must be able to work under pressure.
