HR Assistant on a contract basis
to join their team in Epping. You will provide general administration support to the HR Manager as required including filing, telephone answering, scanning, photocopying, data capturing and maintaining HR related documents.
Recruitment & Selection:
Prepare job description as per specification from manager.
Send internal advertisement of open vacancies to all staff members in company.
Send request for new positions to respective recruitment agencies.
Compile all CVs received from different agencies.
Set up interviews with respective manager & HR.
Regret unsuccessful candidates according to set templates available.
New hire sign on:
Get the new hire pack ready for a started.
Open personnel file and ensure all relevant documents has been received.
Arrange new hire induction programme and internal checklist is completed.
Long Service Awards:
Send reminder to HR Manager of employee’s long service awards.
Arrange for vouchers and ceremony.
Maintain personnel records (Employment Contract, ID documents and on boarding guides)
Capture and update HR Premier.
Maintain Training file with all relevant documents as set out per Skills & Development Act.
Capture all employee information on HR Premier.
Update any changes on system and notify all relevant departments in terms of payroll.
Arranging staff functions when required to do so.
Obtaining quotes for staff wellness or any training courses.
Booking of training courses or any appointments with external suppliers.
Any other general HR admin duties as requested to do so.
HR Certificate or HR Diploma is essential.
Min 2 year’s administration experience within an HR department.
HR Premier experience is essential.
Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English)
Excellent organizational skills.
Must be able to take lead and run with projects.
