Vacancy Details Employer:ManpowerGroup South Africa Our client, a leading Law Firm in SA, is urgently looking for a Compliance Analyst for a Temporary 6 months Role within the company The ideal candidate would be responsible for :The end to end client take-on process, ensuring strict compliance to all regulatory statutory requirements such as FIC Act, SARS, LPA etc.Verifies all required documentation, conducts risk assessments and processes documentation as per standard operating procedures.Assists in the administration of the vendor onboarding process.Responsible for coordinating and monitoring the compliance administration of ongoing firm clients enforcing adherence to FICA and any other regulatory requirements such as SARS and LPA.Processes the end to end client acceptance process and verifies all required documentation, conducts conflict checks and processes documentation as per standard operating proceduresKPI's will be but not to :Understand and apply all relevant regulatory / statutory requirements such as FIC Act, FICA etc.Receive KYC Know Your Client, NBI New Business Intake and LPA Legal Practice Act requests from the dashboard and update processing actions.Analyse details provided on Firm questionnaire for FICA purposes, utilise relevant sources to search and verify.Check to ensure that all relevant supporting documentation have been provided.Process confirmations of ultimate beneficial owner/s, PEP, adverse information and analyse information both provided and researched to determine the level of risk to the firm.Respond to and resolve all general and system queries in relation to FICA requirements timeously.Follow the escalation process when dealing with high risk clients as per standard operating procedures.Follow up and resolve escalated system queries by logging requests / incidents.Monitor alerts and reports received on an ongoing basis.Maintain and file documents on a central database including engagements letters and compliance memos accordingly.Responsible for linking client codes to matters and managing the linking of lead matters in the system as per instructions receivedConduct daily conflict checks during engagements, check conflicts and escalate conflicts to the general counsel and risk committee.Assist with business audit checks by preparing required documentation and distribute.Adhere to and enforce best practice service standards, statutory and regulatory compliance applicable to the finance function.Minimum Requirements:Grade 12 / Matric / NQF level 4KYC Process Knowledge & ExperienceBasic knowledge of current versions of LPA, FICA, SARS VATUp to 5 Years Experience in a similar role--Kindly Note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted--
